How the flag is drawn

  1. Start with a rectangle 2 high and 3 long.
  2. The white stripe at the hoist, the side nearest the pole, takes one quarter of the length. The dark green field takes the other three quarters.
  3. From the centre of the green field, draw a white circle whose radius is 3/10 of the flag’s height. A green circle slightly smaller, 11/40 of the height, with its centre moved towards the top right corner along the diagonal, cuts it into the crescent.
  4. The five-pointed star sits on the same diagonal, inside the opening of the crescent. It fits in a circle whose radius is 1/10 of the flag’s height.
